The Christmas Tree is up :) Yup, that is my doing. We did it together, but if I hadn't been around, it would still be in the box. Let the season begin.

Sunday, Monday, Tuesday.....

They were just playing...but wow, do they look like they are going to eat each other. They played and ran across the snow like they had something to prove. It was entertaining.

Finally I took the time and energy to make one of the best desserts ever....1 out of 3 successful attempts...better than nothing.

Yippy...Finally I have somewhere at my fingertips that provides soft pretzels...
two days a week :)

Someone swiped my parking spot this morning, so I had to venture out at lunch and move my car. WOW, was it cold. But I got to enjoy the 5 min of sun we have had in the last 3 days.

Winter

Kirra is pouting cause I won't go play with her in the snow for hours and hours and hours. It's to stinkin cold out there for that.

She got to play while I shoveled, but she wants to run free and play in it. And chase snowballs all day.

SNOW!....Think it's here to stay?

The day of 3 fairs

Three Christmas Fairs, and this was the only Christmasy picture I could come up with. Now I'm really really kicking myself that I missed out the opportunity yesterday. Might have to go back next week.

These were on my way home. I liked the color contrast between the field and the dark clouds blowing in.

In the Church

Sorry for the flashback again. This was in a cool church is Switzerland. I had really great intentions to have all kinds of Christmasy pictures from the craft fair my sister and I went to today. BUT, when I pulled out my camera to capture a shot of a cool tree, the words "NO MEMORY CARD" greeted me on the screen. Hope I have the card for tomorrow's outing.

Little Precious

Isn't she sweet. This is how I spent most of my day off.

My Office

I have recently had people interested in my photos. So I created calendars and cards, and that framed enlargement behind the computer. I guess we will see if I can generate enough interest to start a small business.

THE HIKE part 3

I had no idea where she was when I heard a noise above my head. I think she must be part mountain goat.

Inside the ice cave. The flash was the only light for this picture. Some nice rock climber loaned us a flashlight so we could check out the cave.

Made it to the ice. Just on one wall at this point, but as the winter progresses it becomes a full out ice cave.

A completely exhausted Kirra. She was a trooper and probably did a couple more km's than we did, cause she runs all over the place, never in a straight line.

THE HIKE part 2

See that black spot in the middle (ish) of the picture, that is where we climbed up to. This was after a 6-7km hike to this point.

How often do you get to say you are above a helicopter?

And then land in the dry river bed that you were just standing on. Just another "family outing?" Wow, I think I need a helicopter.

The Hike

After a 17ish Km hike today...including scaling the loose looking part of this mountain...I don't have the energy to post more than one. I will post more tomorrow and tell some stories. It was a good day.

Cheat Day

Seeing as it is November, it doesn't take to many brain cells to know these are old shots. I had a crazy busy day today. In less than an hour I showered, blow-dried and straightened hair, got dressed, stopped for a coffee (with a fly in it), and made it to work. The saw a gong show of a game, right down to the last few min of OT, where I (and a few others) called 911 for a skate to the wrist injury. Don't have the energy to come up with something interesting to take a picture, of and I didn't have my camera with me to catch the bloody event.

My day off

Hard to believe that A-there is unfrozen water for Kirra to play in, and B-she was hot enough and the water wasn't to cold for her to willingly go in.

She loves being a free range pup. We walked for almost 2 hours before heading to the vet for her vaccines and rabies shots. Hoped to have her worn out by then. Didn't work. For being a "senior" at 7 she is in great shape. Actually, since last year, she has lost 2.5lbs.

22 Degrees in November.

I tried to include a mini video of our trip to the dog park today, but it didn't want to upload. It was so sunny and warm, but yikes, I gotta remember to take a coat cause when the sun goes down, so does the temp....FAST.

More Halloween
